Today, A Rainbow Plate is a Healthy Plate,
THE Art and Healthy Eating Community Project visited the Good Luck Community Center!
The young people at the center really rock!
All 10 students and 3 staff worked together to create:
- A Fresh Fruit and Veggie rainbow!
- Identify new and favorite fruits and veggies.
- Collaborate on preparing the fruit for smoothies.
- Blend and share smoothies. Yum!
Everyone left with a flyer to give a visual on the rainbow plate and to offer the link to direct their parents to
MyPlate.gov A good time was had by all!
